Your
residence home is much more than a place where you
eat and sleep. It's the place
where you experience life with others; it's a place to live and
interact with other students who each have interesting
backgrounds and experiences. It's where you develop life long
friendships; where you read books, write papers, and discuss
assignments with your peers. Your residence home is a
place where you grow in your relationship with the Lord through
prayer gatherings and Bible studies. It's a place where you are
loved by Christian house parents who have a God-given desire to
see you grow in every area of your life.
Most of our homes have eight rooms with 2
students living in each room. Rooms are either joined together
by a bathroom (suite) or a common bathroom is shared. A
cozy living room is typically located in the front of the house
where students can stretch out to watch television or chat with
other students. A kitchen and laundry room are also
located in the homes for students to take care of daily
responsibilities. The house parents have an apartment connected
to the home providing students with just the right amount of
accountability and supervision.
