Student Life at French camp academy
The Dean's Office is committed to creating and maintaining a challenging and supportive environment on campus.  To that end, we desire to see the following elements woven into the fabric of French Camp Academy: 1) effective life skills for living and working in preparation for Christian living in a complex world, 2) the intellectual, social/emotional, physical and spiritual development of all students, and 3) the value of being a life-long learner.

With the above principles in mind, the following activities and clubs are available for students to enjoy throughout the year: Horseback riding, the largest observatory in Mississippi, cycling, swimming, canoeing, hiking, yearbook staff, Sons & Daughters Travel Choir, Beta Club, disk jockey, sorghum molasses cooking, fishing and student union activities. Many off-campus activities are organized throughout the year by the Dean's Office.

Sunday Mornings

Every Lord’s Day, students from campus walk down to French Camp Presbyterian Church for Sunday school and  morning worship.  Upon their return to campus, they have a formal lunch followed by an afternoon of rest and reflection, which they spend in the homes reading, napping or studying.  Evening vespers follow supper, and the Lord’s Day closes with time in homes preparing for a new week.
