In a tranquil lakeside setting, groups of all kinds can escape the everyday world’s hustle and bustle. Freed from distractions, they can focus on contemplation, discussion, education, and reflection. Several buildings provide a variety of meeting spaces for up to 200 people, with audiovisual capabilities available.

Activities range from challenging to relaxing and include horseback riding, disc golf, climbing, hiking, biking, water sports, and the always exciting Octaball. Many of the activities lend themselves to team building. Retreat participants can stay in motel-style rooms or rustic cabins, or intimately reconnect with nature by camping out in the woods near the lake.

The retreat center’s humblest venue, the Outdoor Chapel, invariably inspires some of the most profound insights. This peaceful place, tucked away in the woods above the lake, epitomizes what Rising Son Retreat Center is all about: a chance to rediscover what’s really important in life.
