Academics
The educational program at FCA has a strong Christian emphasis and is approved by the Mississippi State Department of Education. It includes academic classes, vocational training, radio communication skills, an observatory, a full sports program, and an active music and arts program for grades 9-12. Over 90 percent of all French Camp Academy graduates go on to higher education.
Dress Code
In a nutshell, we have four words that describe the dress code at French Camp Academy: modest, clean, neat, and appropriate.
All students during school hours are required to wear plain or pleated-front khaki pants or shorts and designated polo-style shirts (gray, white, or cobalt blue). During winter months, students must wear the Land's End Polartec, a full-zipped front jacket that's comfortable and attractive. Closed-toe shoes must be worn and can be purchased at the store of your choice.
Go to Lands' End School Uniforms for uniform needs.
Results From Our Academic Program
Through the help of gifted teachers and staff, over 90 percent of our students go on to some form of higher education. Students compete in regional and national Beta Club activities. Sports teams have been an integral part of campus life, participating in district and statewide athletic competitions. Individualized attention is given to students when needed. As a result, our students thrive academically.
Our Philosophy of Education
We recognize that God is the source and center of all knowledge, wisdom, and meaning. All that He has created is for His own glory and purposes; all learning is a gift from God to be used responsibly by students in their unique ways.
French Camp Academy embraces an environment of Christ-centered excellence in education that encompasses respect for one another and focuses on life-oriented, active learning to make God a part of everyday life for its students.
