Memorial & Honor Gifts
One of the unique characteristics of French Camp Academy is that no child is ever denied an education because of financial difficulties, especially if the child can benefit from a caring home environment like the one we offer. In order to keep this door of opportunity open for our young people we must seek financial support by other sources of income other than tuition. Over the years, one of French Camp Academy's primary sources for student scholarship aid has been memorial and honor gifts.
We can think of no finer means of remembering a deceased friend or loved one than through a memorial gift to help the young people of French Camp Academy. And the same holds true for honoring a friend or loved one on a special occasion (birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, etc.). In either case, the family of the deceased or the honoree is promptly notified of your thoughtfulness … and the amount of your gift is never disclosed.
In addition, all memorial and honor gifts will be listed in the next issue of FCA's quarterly newspaper, French Camp Today.
Make your gift by check:
It’s still the most common way to give to the Annual Scholarship Fund. You can make a gift simply by writing a check payable to “French Camp Academy” and sending it to:

Make a Gift of Stock
Many donors make their gift to French Camp Academy in the form of securities, just as many of our donors have done in recent months. The benefits for making a gift of an appreciated stock to the Academy are many and include avoidance of capital gains tax. Long-term, appreciated securities can be used to make a gift to the the Academy, thus avoiding the capital gains tax on the securities that would result if the same stock were sold and you gave the proceeds to French Camp. A donor is entitled to a charitable tax deduction equal to the value of the securities on the date of transfer to French Camp Academy.
