Alumni Museum

Built around 1855 by Francis Asbury Allen and located in Montgomery County on Reed Creek, about three miles north of Kilmichael, Mississippi, this home was occupied by members of the Allen family until the late 1920s. The cabin was donated to FCA by Mr. and Mrs. Homer Sledge of Cleveland, Mississippi, whose mother and aunt grew up in the house.

Displayed in the renovated log cabin museum are time-tested French Camp memorabilia and artifacts. This project was started and completed by the Alumni of French Camp Academy, and was dedicated on May 26, 2001. If you want to get a feel for how life used to be, then stop by this museum and step back in time.
