An Education with an emphasis! |
|
Our educational program has a
strong Christian emphasis and is approved by the
Mississippi
State Department of Education. It includes academic classes,
vocational training, radio communication skills, an observatory,
a full sports program, and an active music and arts program for
grades 9-12. Over ninety-five percent (95%) of all French Camp Academy
graduates go on to higher education. |
| a
place to develop good work habits |
Work is a privilege, not a punishment, at French
Camp. Our student work program supplements tuition and gifts,
and also provides a variety of opportunities for youth to
develop skills for future vocation or post-school training:
radio broadcasting, farm
management, clerical duties, domestic chores, crafts, grounds keeping, woodworking, mechanics and
building projects.
Students work on the campus 15 hours per week, learning strong work habits and obedience in the Christian spirit of sharing.
|
| a
place for good times and personal growth |
French
Camp Academy is a place where recreational activities abound.
The primary school sports of football, basketball, baseball,
softball, track and field, and tennis, along with banquets, concerts,
films, and special speakers allow students to develop their
individual interests and talents while growing in their personal
relationships with others. As one person put it. . . "It's kinda
hard not to like French Camp!"
