The Huffman Log Cabin Gift Shop, originally
located two miles south of French Camp, was relocated in 1975
and renovated by FCA staff and students.
George Marquess built the first room of this ‘dog-trop’ cabin in
1840, finishing the second room and breezeway in 1852. This
single story cabin represents a type of construction formerly
found throughout the American frontier; only a few remain. The
cabin now serves as a gift shop and a showplace for arts and
crafts, jellies, home-made quilts, and other unique items that can
be purchased while visiting.For
inquiries regarding merchandise sold in the Gift Shop, please
